The Old Fashioned Baby - Baby's Smocked Layette

Baby's Smocked Layette is fashioned after and antique baby gown that features a little bit of smocking in the front of the gown/dress and smocked sleeves. The neck of View 2 and 3 are finished with entredeux and lace. This pattern has been developed to be pleater compatible yet still keep that old fashioned look. View 1 is a long Daygown with long sleeves.  Directions are included for a Bias Bound Neck and Sleeves.  View 2 has a sweet Scalloped Hem accented with embroidery. View 3 is elegant with a lovely Lace Hem and a bit of embroidery at the hem. The Ruffled Brim Smocked Bonnet frames baby's face and ties in the back , making the fit adjustable.  A Baby Slip is included.
